Rydora – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Rider”, or “You”) and Rydora Technologies Private Limited (“Rydora”, “We”, “Our”, or “Us”), governing your access to and use of the Rydora mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By registering for, accessing, or using Rydora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.


1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to register and use Rydora’s ride-related features.
1.2 You must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information during registration.
1.3 You must hold a valid driving license and comply with local traffic laws when operating a vehicle for rides.
1.4 Rydora may refuse or suspend your account if false, misleading, or illegal information is provided.


2. User Responsibilities

2.1 Account Security – You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (password, MPIN, or OTP). Any activity under your account will be considered authorized by you.
2.2 Data Accuracy – You must ensure that your personal details, emergency contacts, and ride details are up-to-date.
2.3 Lawful Use – You may only use Rydora for lawful purposes and must not:

  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or threats to other users.
  • Upload harmful, fraudulent, or obscene content.
  • Use the platform for unauthorized commercial activities.
    2.4 Vehicle Condition – You are solely responsible for ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy and complies with local regulations.

3. Rides & Group Features

3.1 Ride Creation – By creating a ride/group, you confirm that you have the right to invite other members and that you will act as a responsible group admin.
3.2 Live Location Sharing – Location data shared within the group is visible only to accepted members and is intended solely for ride coordination and safety.
3.3 Group Chat & Voice Communication – Users must not share offensive, illegal, or copyrighted material.
3.4 SOS Feature – SOS alerts are sent to group members and designated contacts; however, Rydora does not guarantee emergency response and is not a substitute for official emergency services.


4. Token System & Payments

4.1 Tokens – Rydora Tokens are virtual credits used for in-app services and have no real-world monetary value outside the platform.
4.2 Purchases – Token purchases via payment gateways are final and non-refundable unless required by law.
4.3 Seasonal Offers – Offers are subject to change and may be withdrawn without prior notice.
4.4 Fraudulent Transactions – Any attempt to manipulate payment or token systems will result in account suspension and legal action.


5. Privacy & Data Usage

5.1 Rydora collects and processes personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
5.2 Data Collected – Includes name, contact details, profile image, ride details, location data, chat history, emergency contacts, and payment details.
5.3 Usage – Data is used to provide services, improve safety, enhance user experience, and comply with legal obligations.
5.4 Sharing – Rydora will never sell personal data. Data may be shared with:

  • Group members for ride coordination.
  • Payment processors for transactions.
  • Emergency contacts during SOS alerts.
  • Law enforcement when legally required.
    5.5 Retention – Data is stored securely and retained as long as necessary for service provision and legal compliance.

6. Safety & Security

6.1 While we use encryption, secure storage, and verification processes, no online platform can guarantee 100% security.
6.2 You acknowledge that you share location and personal data at your own discretion and risk.
6.3 Rydora is not liable for:

  • Accidents, injuries, or property damage during rides.
  • Delays, disruptions, or technical issues in the app.
  • Loss of tokens or services due to account compromise caused by your negligence.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All Rydora content, trademarks, logos, and designs are the property of Rydora.
7.2 You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.
7.3 Any feedback or suggestions you submit may be used by Rydora without obligation or compensation.


8. Suspension & Termination

8.1 We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:

  • Breach these Terms.
  • Engage in fraud, abuse, or illegal activity.
  • Misuse ride features or payment systems.
    8.2 Upon termination, unused tokens may be forfeited without refund.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Guarantee – Rydora provides the Platform “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted service, accuracy, or availability.
9.2 Limited Liability – To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rydora is not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.


10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10.2 Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in [City, State], India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.


11. Changes to Terms

11.1 We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform, and your continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
